Itineraries
Day 1
Transfer to Sirimon Gate, hike to Old Moses Camp.
Day 1: Pick up at the residing place in Nairobi and transferred through the Nairobi Garissa highway for about 4 hours to sirimon gate (2600m) via Nanyuki town. Here at sirimon Gate, complete the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) starndard check-in routine. Hike through transitioning 9 km trail from the beautiful indigenous montane forest, bamboo groves, and giant heather zones to an a accomoddation at Old Moses camp(3300m).
Day 2
Old Moses Camp to Shiptons Camp
It is a 14 km High-Altitude moorland to alpine zone, its about 7 hour traverse through Mackinder's valley. The landscape opens up dramatically into high-altitude moorland filled with unique afro-alpine flora like giants lobelias and groundsels. As you approach the Shipton's camp (4200m), you will see panoramic views of the main peaks, Batian and Nelion. Spend the night at Shipton camp and enjoy stargazing at night.
Day 3
Shipton's camp to point Lenana (Summit)
Wake up at 2:30 AM for a predawn summit push 3km steep, rocky scree ascent under the stars. Reach point Lenana (4985m) by sunrise around 6:15 AM to witness the Africa sun lighting the glaciers and plains below. After celebrating, descend down via the same route to Shipton's camp for breakfast under the shinning sun. Relax to around 10:30 AM and proceed to Old Moses camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Descend to Sirimon Gate and transfer back

Your Plan
Wake up at around 7:00 AM. Enjoy the mountain treat breakfast and descend down to gate for check out, keep an eye out for Columbus monkeys, bushbucks, buffaloes and elephants at this time of the day.
